Andrea Lee has made a name for herself in the world of professional golf since she was a former amateur. These are some facts that you might not know of about Andrea Lee, the American LPGA Tour player. Andrea Lee was born on the 15th of August, 1997 in Los Angeles. She started playing golf at the age of 5 with the help of her father James. As a young girl, she began to compete in tournaments, and within four years, won 50 Junior titles. The year 2014 was the time she made it to the finals of the US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. Her dad accompanied her at her age of 15 and worked as a caddie. The LPGA Tour invited her as a sponsor to 2015 ANA Inspiration, where she was able to make the cut, but only by just one stroke. Lee participated for the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. In her first year at Stanford University in 2016, Lee was the most decorated player to that point. Lee won 9 titles during the span of three seasons. Lee graduated from Stanford University in 2019 and turned professional. Her amateur seasons included 17 consecutive weeks in the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee was a top amateur and finished her career as the best amateur, received an award called the Mark H. McCormack 2019 Medal. Lee was an amateur of the top with four albatrosses, and four holes-in-one. Lee finished among Top 10 once during her debut season on the LPGA Tour. She was T7 on Kingsbarns Golf Links in 2020 at the AIG Women's Open. Lee was able to make an LPGA Tour debut in the Portland Classic of 2022. The winner devoted the victory to her late father Min who always considered me a champion and he believed in me from the beginning.
